Abstract
The article deals with the essence of the concept of "financial security of an enterprise" and different approaches to its interpretation. The financial security of the business entities determines the efficiency of the protection systems against risks and threats that arise in different fields of economic activity. The purpose of the study is to provide practical guidances on how to overcome external and internal threats to the financial security of the enterprise. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is the works of domestic and foreign scientists. The article reveals the internal and external factors that affect the financial security of the enterprise. In the course of the research it was found that in the conditions of constant volatility of the market environment, new threats emerge, which lead to a negative impact on the financial security of the enterprise as well as was revealed that one of the most important conditions for sustainable development of enterprises is to ensure high results of their entrepreneurial activity at the expense of effective financial security system. The types of threats, principles, functional and strategic goals and conditions for ensuring the financial security of economic entities are identified. Possible influence of external and internal factors on the enterprise in case of non-compliance with measures to combat them is considered. There are a number of practical recommendations on the possibility of risks prevention and overcoming threats to the financial security of the enterprise within the technical, technological, personnel and financial components. The directions of the enterprise financial condition strengthening are offered, which will give an opportunity to strengthen financial security, increase management efficiency and reach sufficient development potential.
