THE PROCESS OF MODERN MANAGEMENT THROUGH THE TRANSFORMATION OF FUNCTIONS
Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the role and functions of a manager in the modern enterprise management system. The authors analyze the transformation of the manager's functions in modern realities, associated with digitalization, globalization and other megatrends. The main tasks of a manager, its impact on business efficiency and the tools that he uses to achieve the set goals are considered. The new challenges that managers face and the need for constant development of their competencies are studied. Planning as the basis of management is one of the key functions of a manager. In realities where competition is growing every day, proper planning becomes the basis for the successful operation of an enterprise. The manager determines the goals of the organization, develops strategies to achieve them. This allows not only to establish clear directions for development, but also to avoid possible problems on the way to achieving results. Organization is the next important aspect of the manager's functioning. The manager not only determines goals, but also forms the structure of the enterprise, which allows to implement the set goals. He is responsible for the distribution of tasks between employees, the organization of teamwork and the optimization of processes. Control allows the manager to track the performance of tasks, evaluate results and timely identify deviations from planned indicators. This is one of the most important functions, because without control it is impossible to achieve high standards of quality and productivity. Personnel management is an integral part of the manager's activities. Modern employees need not only material incentives, but also non-material support. Motivation helps to create a pleasant atmosphere for team development, increase employee involvement and efficiency. The manager is responsible for the effective use of the organization's resources. This applies to both financial and human and technical resources. Resource management allows the enterprise to function with maximum efficiency even in difficult conditions. Decision-making is the daily work of a manager, associated with management decisions that can affect both current operations and the future of the enterprise. This requires analytical thinking, creativity and the ability to risk management. Communication as the key to success in a modern enterprise is the basis of productive cooperation. The manager ensures effective information exchange between all levels of the organization, creating conditions for constructive dia-logue and interaction. A modern manager must be a source of innovation for the enterprise. He introduces new tech-nologies, optimizes business processes and stimulates the creativity of the team.
