IDENTIFICATION OF THREATS TO ECONOMIC SECURITY IN THE PROCESS OF IMPORT DEPENDENCE INTENSIFICATION
Abstract
Abstract. It is determined that the increase of import dependence creates additional threats to the system of economic security. Accordingly, an effective import substitution policy should focus on the introduction of monitoring, timely detection, localization and leveling of functional-structural and systemic risks and threats. It was determined that the mentioned groups cause the most critical negative effects that lead to weakening of the controllability of the development of the domestic market, the growth of the dependence of consumption on the characteristics of imports, the deformation of the system of structural relations within the limits of production, exchange, distribution and consumption, complication of opportunities for implementing projects of economic cooperation, “escape” of capital and reinvestment of profits abroad, “deactivation” of local entrepreneurship, creation of systemic barriers for qualitative functional and structural changes and institutional reforms.
