PREREQUISITES OF ENTRY OF UKRAINE TO THE WORLD INFORMATION SPACE
Abstract
Abstract. The national information space is undergoing a new stage of development, connected with integration into the world and European information space. Various changes occur in the structure of the information space sectors, when some sectors (print media, archives) do not meet European standards and experience declining tendencies, while other sectors, such as the Internet, mobile communications, demonstrate rapid growth. The formation of the information society is based on the latest information and telecommunication technologies and means of communication. It is the new technologies that have led to the rapid spread of global information networks, primarily the Internet, which opens up fundamentally new opportunities for international information exchange. In connection with this, the analysis of the functioning of the national information space has been carried out, the problems of the national information market have been investigated, and the profound rules concerning the development of the information society in Ukraine have been proposed.
