STATE POLICY OF INFLATION PROCESSES REGULATION IN TRANSITIONAL ECONOMIES
Abstract
Abstract. In this article the inflationary process and macroeconomic transformations in transitional economics are studied. The article reveals that the problem of inflation exists in many countries, especially in countries with transitional economies. Each country uses individual methods and solutions to solve this problem. Also, the article examines inflation targeting (the concept of monetary policy, which provides the official announcement by central bank a quantitative inflation target for a specified period and responsibility for its compliance), and currency board (monetary institution, fixing the exchange rate of national currency to foreign and responsible for the issue of national currency completely provided by foreign currency reserves). The purpose of this article is the analysis of national policies of inflation processes regulation in transitional economies, and based on that, making recommendations for improvement of the macroeconomic situation in Ukraine. The results of this study can be used by state bodies providing prices regulation, such as the Ministry of Finances, the state statistical agencies.
